The idea for the chalet is part of our philosophy: what we do, we want to do really well. And that's why we don't just offer holidays, but really good holidays. Your wish is a matter close to our heart.

The Seisen farm
A history full of tradition and development
There, where the farm has been cultivated for centuries, Matthias and Barbara Moser today have a colorful farm. Suckler cows are kept in the old tradition, 20 cows with their calves graze around the barn and many other animals like pigs, chickens and even a horse enjoy themselves next to them.
Rustic and genuine, the Seisen farm combines comfort and vacation at the highest level.

Winter
When the snow crunches under your shoes and the icicles hang down from the roof, winter has arrived at the Seeisengut. Up here, far away from the stress of everyday life, you can enjoy the landscape in its original splendor. This is easy to do with touring skis or snowshoes from the front door - or just around the corner on the Frauenalpe, formerly a ski area, now an Eldorado for everyone who wants to get to the summit in winter. There are also many ski lifts in the area, so it's only a short hop to the Grebenzen or to the Kreischberg. Not much further away are the Lachtal, the Turracherhöhe or the Steirische Krakow. With the narrower cross-country skis, you are in good hands at the nearby Weirerteich cross-country skiing center. The ice surfaces of the local lakes are transformed into ice skating rinks and ice rinks for curling in winter. In the evening you can relax in front of the fireplace.
Summer
Where, if not in the Murau district, is nature still alive! In the Niedere Tauern or the Seetal Alps, you can go to dizzy heights. The mountaineering village of Kraków, with the highest peaks in the district and the mystical Preber, is only a twenty-minute drive away. You can get there even faster in the Zirbitzkogel-Grebenzen Nature Park, which stretches from the gentle limestone massif of the Grebenzen to the mighty Zirbitzkogel. The Wölzer Tauern with the Großer Zinken can also be explored in an eventful way, as can the Murberge around the Gstoder - all just a stone's throw away. With hiking boots, you can also explore the immediate surroundings of the SeisenAlm with its bubbling streams and quiet clearings. The Murau district is a paradise for cyclists from e- to mountain bikes, the Turracherhöhe even has a flow trail. Meanwhile, relaxation can be found at the Murau-Kreischberg golf course, which the legendary Murtalbahn passes by. In the summer months you can also admire the district nostalgically with the steam locomotive. The mystical mountain lakes allow you to immerse yourself in pure nature and feel history: At Prebersee and Schattensee you can experience the famous water target shooting - unique in the world.

Murau and beer, that fits like a glove. In the district capital, the cooperative brewery, which is still independent today, is not only a leading regional company, but also the first brewery with the EMAS environmental seal of approval. Beer culture is lived here, and not only, but especially in the beer pharmacy and in the Murau brewery.
In addition to the fine drinks, you can truly experience history here. The Schwarzenberg dynasty is inextricably linked to Murau Castle, as is the legendary lady of the castle, Anna Neumann von Wasserleonburg. History and culture await around every corner. The surrounding villages offer many traditions and customs, ranging from the citizens' or rifle guards to the giant figure of Samson or the carnival races.

We are aware of our responsibility and live in harmony with nature to preserve our wonderful jewel. The warmth for the cozy comfort in the chalet comes from the wood chip heating system, energy from the photovoltaic system. There is a charging station for e-cars and e-bikes.
